You probably wouldn't recognize him in y'all were stuck on an elevator together, but you've definitely used one of his products. Jony Ive, who's been at Apple 27 years, has designed some of the world's most iconic products — like the iPhone, iPod, MacBook Air, Apple Watch, and iMac desktop.

He announced he was leaving Apple to begin his own design company, which Apple will be an early client of. It's a win-win for Ive and a huge loss for Apple.
