What isn't Amazon doing at this point?

Amazon is really out for world domination, dawg. As if taking over all things e-commerce related wasn't enough, Amazon has officially opened their first bricks-and-mortar store in New York's SoHo neighborhood.

The store, called Amazon 4-star, only features goods that have at least a 4-star rating on, and is tailored to the shopping habits of the local community.

You can find items for categories such as electronics, home, kitchen, toys, books, and games. The whole nine yards. If you're an Amazon Prime member, you will pay the same price the item is listed for online; if you're not a Prime member, you will pay the list price. Those savings alone may be worth the membership.

Something tells me that this is also a way for Amazon to start filling up the shelves with their own electronic devices. It would allow for consumers to physically test items before buying -- similar to how Apple stores operate.
